This page explains what data Pocketey collects when you visit the site or play one of the games, what we use it for, and what choices you have. Plain English first, formal language second.

Who we are

Pocketey is a small, independently operated game site reachable at https://pocketey.com. It is run by a solo developer rather than a company, and is hosted on Cloudflare Pages.

What we collect

The site itself uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is a cookieless analytics product. It records aggregate page views, country-level geography, the referring site, and basic information about your browser such as the user agent string. It does not assign you a persistent identifier, does not build a behavior profile, and does not share your data with third-party advertising networks. We do not run any other first-party analytics tool by default.

Each individual game stores a small amount of progress data inside your browser using localStorage. This typically includes high scores, the level you reached, your sound preference, and similar gameplay state. None of this leaves your device. You can clear it at any time by clearing site data for https://pocketey.com in your browser settings.

Advertising

Some pages display advertising provided by Google AdSense and game-focused ad networks such as CrazyGames SDK, GameMonetize and AdinPlay. These partners are independent companies and may set their own cookies, web beacons, or device identifiers in order to serve, measure, and report on ads. They may also use that information to personalize ads on other sites you visit.

You can review and adjust the choices Google makes about your ads at adssettings.google.com. You can opt out of personalized advertising from many third-party networks at the Network Advertising Initiative and the Digital Advertising Alliance.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please reach out via the contact page and we will delete it.

International transfers

Because the site is delivered through Cloudflare's global content delivery network, requests are routed to the data center closest to the visitor. Cloudflare and Google operate infrastructure across many countries; their respective privacy policies cover how they handle traffic data in transit.

Your choices

You can disable JavaScript or use an ad blocker to opt out of advertising on the site. You can clear local game progress at any time via your browser. You can request information about data we hold by emailing the address on the contact page; because we operate at a small scale, we typically have very little data attached to any one visitor.

Changes to this policy

When we change anything material on this page, we will update the date at the top of the document and, where the change affects how data is collected, post a short notice on the home page. Continued use of the site after such a change means you accept the updated policy.
